After several years of research and
numerous tests, he invented the patented
Firexpress dual nozzle. ‘Dual’ because
it is actually two pieces of fi re fi ghting
equipment in one and therefore able to
fi ght almost all types of fi res.

Different techniques are needed to extinguish
different types of fi res. Fires fuelled by
normal combustibles (Class A), combustible
gases (Class C) and electric installations
(Class E) are extinguished by removing the
heat of the fi re by spraying it with water
mist in combination with foam. Fires with
fl ammable liquids (Class B) are extinguished
by covering the burning material with
aqueous fi lm-forming foam that seals off
the fl ow of air feeding the fi re.
