Soap nuts ( Sapindus Mukorossi) , also known as soap berry, soapods, reetha, etc. Soap nuts are not coming from the nuts family at all. Soap nuts are the dried fruit of the Chinese Soap berry tree, so it is from berry family. The ripe soap nuts is golden or brown. Soap nuts are natural washing agent that grows on tree. Its stickiness derived from the sapponin content on its shell which will act as detergent once it’ s in contact with water.
