This Bacharach red spirit filled sling psychrometer has a self-contained reservoir holds enough water for several hours of testing. The thin bulb design gives rapid thermal response. This sling psychrometer is easily carried in your pocket, vehicle or pack without fear of breaking. The 4¾ " shock-resistant glass thermometers telescope in and out of a protective case, which doubles as a sling handle and a psychrometric slide rule. The uniquely compact Bacharach sling psychrometer accurately determines percent relative humidity without the necessity of consulting complex tables. There is no need to wet the wick each time a reading is taken; the sling psychrometer contains a slide rule calculator which correlates wet and dry bulb thermometer indications for direct reading of relative humidity. When not in use, the thermometer case telescopes into the handle for protection.
