RiSkill (Risk & Skill) was established in 2004 by Mr. Thon Huijser. He holds a degree in Horticulture and Economics, and almost 30 years of agro field, (inter)national agro-banking, and agro-consultancy experience covering 28 countries predominantly in Western and Eastern Europe, Asia, and Africa.

During his career Thon held positions on ‘all sides of the table’: commercial, risk, strategy, research, product development, decision-making, policy, workout, turnaround management, and training. This rare skill set results in a unique capability to support the (re)structuring process of effective solutions in complex situations.

A listening ear, open eyes, creative mind, and eagerness to ‘develop & implement’ practical solutions to the clients’ challenges characterize the way he operates. By his standards a good solution not only solves the outstanding issue, but takes into account all related aspects, and strengthens the individual or company to better meet future challenges. Transfer of solution-related knowledge aiming at making the client independent of the consultant is a key part of the implementation.
