They are used to control earthing continuity thanks loading and
unloading operation. Thanks normally arrive electrostatically loaded,
and an imperfect earthing might cause fire originated by a spark
in presence of gas. The earthing control system is composed of a
marine grade copper free aluminium enclosure, as above described,
inside fitted zith the earthing control electronic circuit SM-2001 which

allows the connection of an intrinsically safe cable gland to a earthing

Enclosure is provided with:
- red pilot light to signal NOT AVAILABLE
- green pilot light to signal AVAILABLE
- INSERTION push button
Red pilot light remain lit till clamp is conneclted to vehicle’ s earthing
bar, and insertion push button is pressed for two sec.at least. If resistance
measured by elect. circuit is less than 20phm, SM-2001 system
alloes for leading/ unloading operations. Eartghing clamp is normally
complete with 8mt cable
